Conveyor Cleaning

A standard Air-Blade™ Air Knife /Air Knives Model 10030 was used with a .004" stainless steel shim gap to clean a conveyor at a metal processing facility to remove small scrap buildup. Previously scrapers and brushes were used but created costly maintenance problems. The downtime was decreased and the application essentially maintenance free. Noise was not a major factor so the heavy-duty designed standard Air Blade Air Knife / Air Knives was adequate for the application. The unit was easy to mount because of mounting holes on the air knife unlike competitive models that may require dismantling and reassembly.
